You want to race in our Le Mans Ultimate league, but it is not obvious where to start: where you sign up, which game and packs you need, how you pick a car. Miss one step and you find out on Thursday evening that you do not own the track for the round. Here is the whole path to the starting grid in four steps.
The short version: 4 steps to your first race
Sign up for free. Create an account on the sign-up page and choose Le Mans Ultimate as your discipline.
Get the game. Le Mans Ultimate is sold for PC on Steam.
Enter a race. Pick an event and choose a GT3 car from the list.
Race. Rounds run on Thursdays from 21:00 Bulgarian time.
Entering our tournaments is currently free. You only pay for the game and any add-on packs you want.
What league you are joining
Virtual Esport is an independent Bulgarian esports league and platform. We are not affiliated with Studio 397 (the game's developer), Motorsport Games or the ACO.
The league runs in the GT3 class (LMGT3). A season has 7 rounds, one per week, every Thursday from 21:00 Bulgarian time. There are standings for drivers and for teams.
The season is already under way: Anne Spaan won the opening round at Monza on 17 September 2026 in a BMW M4 LMGT3.

Step 1: create a free account
Open the sign-up page and fill in:
a nickname;
email and password, or sign in with your Google account;
discipline - choose Le Mans Ultimate;
role - driver or engineer.
Driver or engineer?
If you want to race, choose driver. An engineer supports the team but does not drive and does not appear in the standings.
Example: a friend who wants to be part of your team without getting behind the wheel signs up as an engineer.
Age requirements
You can sign up on your own from age 14. Between 14 and 18 you need a parent's knowledge. Under 14, only a parent can create the profile.
Step 2: the game and your PC
You need your own legal copy of Le Mans Ultimate. It is the official game of the FIA World Endurance Championship and the 24 Hours of Le Mans, and it is sold for PC on Steam (Windows 10/11).
The base game costs roughly 40 € on Steam as of late September 2026, and it goes on sale from time to time. Check the current price on the game's Steam page.
Which season tracks come with the base game
The base game gives you 4 of the 7 tracks on our calendar. The other three are in paid packs (DLC):

Before a round at Daytona, COTA or Barcelona, make sure the right pack is in your Steam library. Do not leave it until 20:50 on Thursday, the download takes time.
Which GT3 cars come with the base game
Three LMGT3 cars ship with the base game. The rest are in packs:

Example: to drive the car Anne Spaan won Monza with (the BMW M4 LMGT3), you need 2024 Pack 3. If you would rather not buy packs yet, start with the Mercedes-AMG, the Ford Mustang or the McLaren 720S.
PC specs and controls
Steam lists these minimum requirements: Windows 10/11, an Intel Core i5-8400 or AMD Ryzen 5 2600 CPU, 8 GB RAM, an NVIDIA GTX 1060 (6 GB) or AMD RX 580 (6 GB) graphics card and 45 GB of free space.

Step 3: enter a race
Your account makes you a member of the platform. To actually race, you also enter a specific event:
Open the upcoming events.
Pick the race and sign up for it.
Choose a GT3 car from the list.
Changed your mind about the car? You can switch it any time before the race starts. Entries also stay open right up to the start.
Example: on Monday you enter with the McLaren 720S. On Wednesday you buy the pack with the Porsche 911 and decide to race that instead. You switch the car in your entry before the start.
Each event's description lists its rules and any prizes announced for it. Read it before you sign up.
Step 4: race night
Rounds run on Thursdays from 21:00 Bulgarian time, one per week. Bulgaria is on EEST (UTC+3) until 25 October 2026 and on EET (UTC+2) after that, so convert the time if you live elsewhere.
What to check before the start
that you are entered in the right race, and with which car;
that you own the track for the round (Daytona, COTA and Barcelona are in packs);
that the game is updated in Steam and your wheel or controller works;
what the event description and the latest league news say.
After the flag
Driver and team standings are updated after every round. If you sit out a week, watch the round live on our Twitch channel.
Frequently asked questions
Does it cost anything to enter the league?
No. Entering our tournaments is currently free. All you need is your own copy of Le Mans Ultimate.
Do I need all the DLC packs?
Not to get started. The base game includes Monza, Sebring, Spa and Bahrain plus three GT3 cars. Daytona, COTA and Barcelona are in paid packs.
Can I change my car after I enter?
Yes, as long as the race has not started.
Can I join if I am under 18?
Yes. From 14 you sign up yourself, with a parent's knowledge. Under 14, only a parent can create the profile.
