We are moving on to the next round of the LMU championship: Race 2 at Daytona.
The Daytona race saw more incidents than the first—something somewhat expected given the very long straights and the battles that took place on them.
The race winner was Kevin Lee Hope in his Chevrolet Corvette, he delivered a brilliant qualifying performance and drove a flawless race!
Hubert Konczal took second place on the podium and the silver medal, having also driven a fantastic race.
Dario Lajsic claimed third place and the bronze medal; after an incident, he recovered from the deficit and fought his way back impressively to secure the final podium spot.
Meanwhile, Thom Simcrafted put in a remarkable performance, climbing 14 places from his 19th-place start to finish 5th!
So, the standings after Round 3 now have a new leader—Hubert Konczal with 50 points—closely followed by Thom Simcrafted and Dario Lajsic with 48.
